Valentine's weekend

  Well, I've been persuaded to start blogging again.  I have not been doing it since I'm pretty sure nobody is reading this, so I'll just make it a journal.  How about that?  So this past weekend was Valentine's Day.  I think Sunday was more of a V-day than Saturday.  It was a pretty cool day.  I got to share a song with my home church that I just wrote 2 weeks ago.  Way cool.   It's called, "Tell me what You want".   Patrick, my preacher, kind of gave me the inspiration during one of his sermons.  See....i DO pay attention in church! :)  

But Sunday night I sang at an event at FBC in the booming town of Pecos.  What a fun night!  The people were wonderful, the steak was AWESOME and the Harlem Starz even made an appearance.  Burt and I actually got 3 hours of "by ourselves" time in the car and it was a great night.  Then...5:30 am my sweet baby Jill decides to start screaming her head off for her Christmas bubby (her blanky).  Ok.  It's soaking wet in the washing machine.   There was no consoling her.  I just had to try to hush her up by patting her on the back and threatening her with her life. (just kidding).  She eventually did fall asleep.  So much for sleeping in.  We didn't even have school today.  I was going to try to sleep in!!! WHATEVER! Like that's ever going to happen when you have  3 year old.  

At any rate.  It was a fun weekend up until 5:30 this morning. :)  So that's about all I can think of right at the moment.  It's 11:22 and I soooooo need to go to bed.  I promise to try harder and write more often.  That's for anyone who happens to stumble across this. :)
