Well...I spent 4 days in Greensboro and/or Latrobe, PA. Wow...very different from Midland, TX. Had a great time there doing the MOPS event. I loved singing and sharing my songs...especially throwing out new ones that no one has heard yet! Actually...they had never heard ANY of my songs so I guess I was pretty safe with whatever I threw at them! I'm sure glad for the positive responses. You never know til you throw them out there. Speaking was quite the adventure. I had to write the talk for this event and be the guest artist, worship leader AND speaker...quite the "karenpalooza" as my friend Donna called it. I was hoping they were not soooo sick of me by saturday afternoon! Too much of me is not a good thing! Ha Ha!! Well I learned that Latrobe is almost as rainy as Seattle, WA. Yuck. I do NOT like rain. It makes me sad and depressed. Plus my hair looks like crap, if we're being honest here. I also went to my first mass. Hmmm...very different than my southern baptist churches I visit. I'll just leave it at that. :)
The mass/confirmation had nothing to do with my event, I just went with my friend who was there to support HER friend whose child was being confirmed. Anyhoo...there was lots of sitting, standing, sitting, standing...my legs got quite the work out. When it was all over they had a big shin-dig in the fellowship hall with lots of breakfast tarts. Sweet! Last thing I needed, eh? On an even better note, this town had a Marshalls that had a box set of Juicy Couture perfume with the body lotion AND bath gel...and the perfume was full size. $50. Can you stand it? That's how much a tiny purse squirter cost if you buy it at the Juicy store. What a STEAL! I should've bought two. But that would be greedy.

But the trip was great and my friend christine was quite the perfect host! :) love Christine! She is sooo fun. This is a picture of Christine and I this past summer. I haven't uploaded the ones from the MOPS event yet.
So that's about it. May is CRAZY and I have 1,000 things to do every single day...anyone else feel that way? So if I get behind in writing...that is why.
