Happy New Year...

Well... I'm a bit late I would say but, better late than never. It is crazy. I have so many good intentions to write and just put it off. I have some hilarious stories and I want to just sit down and type them...but I don't. :( Am I lazy? too busy? probably both. I can tell you this: I am in QUITE the dilemma with this puppy of mine. She refuses to potty train and I am up to my ears in cleaning up poop. PLUS she EATS it!!!! Aaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhh!! I have tried pineapple in her food to stop the poop-feast, I constantly clean out the kitty box but to no avail. She will seek out the poop in the yard from OTHER dogs. How can I compete with that? I refuse to clean up every dog in the neighborhood's feces. I must draw the line somewhere. I have crate trained, I take her out at 3:00 am or whenever she feels the urge and STILL she relieves herself at her leisure. I have had it. I don't even enjoy her anymore and it makes me so sad. :( I tell the kids they cannot under ANY circumstance let her wander the house freely. She must be on a small leash at all times. That's not really enjoying our pet. It's pretty much surviving having her.

And then there's Jill. She thinks it is quite hilarious to just let her run freely around the house. Oh and she also likes to put hair gel, moose, and toothpaste all over her hair while I'm busy in the kitchen. Nice. So now she looks like she has a mo-hawk. She and her buddy were playing doctor on Maggie. The hair gel was medicine. I thought it was awfully quiet and when I went looking for them they had the doors all closed up and were going to town. I kind of wish she had put the toothpaste on her teeth to get rid of the poo-poo breath. However, I don't think the doggy groomers use the same kind of toothpaste we do. :)

Maggie (our dog) loves playing with the cats outside so when I take her out all she wants to do is run and jump on top of the cats. And they let her. Very strange. She rolls around in the grass and now it's all knotted up in her fur. It's quite the mess. I want to bathe her like every day and wash her poopy mouth out with rinse but...I don't think I'm supposed to do either. Ha ha. I can bathe her...just not every day. Burt is trying to talk me into giving her away. She is so stinkin' cute that it is just gonna kill me but...I go out of town too much and nobody else takes care of her. Quite the dilemma, eh? So if any of you readers have any suggestions as to where I am failing so miserably in this undertaking please feel free to let me know. I want desperately to keep her, but I'm tired of cleaning up poop. Plus I just bought the COOLEST shag leather rug and if she even THINKS about dropping any friends off there I will totally loose it!!! :) She already soiled one of my cool rugs. UGH...

Sooo that's where we are with Mags. Don't EVEN ask me what happened to Spud...
