Back from Nashville...

I know...it's been about a week! I only have my iphone and no lap top so I don't really want to spend 5 hours trying to "text" a message on my blog from my phone! The fingernails are definitely a handicap when it comes to typing on my phone. :) Well...I did not win...:( but I DID have a blast! I love doing these events for several reasons: I am free from my motherly duties...nice break...I get to be smack in the middle of music stuff...which I love...and I meet new people. :) What's not to like? I got to catch up with my friend karen fairchild who some of you may know, is the dark-haired chick in Little Big Town. I met up with a sweet sister-in-law of a friend and had a blast! Yeah Christi...you are sooo fun! :) It was neat finally seeing and hearing "live" all the different folks I've been listening to on Indieheaven this past year. Love love love...Jaime Thietten! Fun gal! Met 2 gals that are new to IH...Tane' and Dorothy...WAAAAAY fun gals... and I, of course, got to shop! Woo Hoo!!! I did get a fresh new hair do so I'll post the only decent picture I could drum up off of my stupid phone! The head -on shots make my face look sooooooo loooooong!
I love performing "live" and although I played at 10:45 at night... I was way up for it and sooo appreciated all the fun friends that stayed up late to watch. Thank you, thank you, thank you! :)
Ok...on a weird side note: I watched the movie Twilight and ....I got sucked into the vortex! I kept wondering what all the hype was about??? Well...watched it and now I know. I'm sure you're thinking...oh...scandelous love story with a vampire. It's actually a pretty clean movie, and so are the books. I'm on number 3. It took me 2 days to read both. (I'm a fast reader) I don't know what it is...but I just can't put the books down! Am I crazy? I'm a sucker for a love story where the hero and heroine struggle!
Speaking of struggle...I just can't seem to get the photo done for the cover of my new album. I may have to just go to plan B. You'll have to wait and see what it is??? The chicken soup books hit the stores this past saturday, so go check it out...page 300!
Peace. :)
