So Thursday was a weird day. School was delayed 2 hours, I missed my body combat class AND beany (Jill)'s Mother's Day out was cancelled... AND my hair appointment was set for 10:00 am. Same time school starts. Sooo I pack up a bag of treats, movies, crayons, coloring books, you name it, drop the kids off and head to the Salon...with Jill in tow. Now, just for the record I HATE my hair. I know HATE is an ugly word, but I cannot think of a stronger emotion for what I feel for my spindly threads. I know there are people out there who have NO hair...don't remind me. :( I'm being a brat. I'm just setting up the scenario. I tried to get the Posh Spice hair do going for me last July. NOPE...didn't work. Maybe it's because I don't have the size 0 figure to go with the "do". Yeah, I'm sure that's it. So I'm trying to let it grow out. But I'm flipping thru books and I find a WAY cute style and tell my stylist...go~for~it! I'm sure I'll look JUST LIKE THE GIRL IN THE PICTURE! So I get home and the first thing my hubby says is, " I thought you were going to grow your hair out? so you frosted it and just cut it some more?" Ok...TIME OUT....who is "frosting" anything? My hair is not cake! There's no frosting going on here, thank you. So we are already off to a crap start. :)
So today I try to fix my hair like it looked when I left the Salon. WHY WHY WHY can't the replica ever be achieved? Is it just one of Murphy's Laws? Thou shalt NEVER get thine hair to match the stylist's...PERIOD!" Well...for what it's worth, my hair might look like crap, but I lost 9 lbs this week! Yippee...hurray for all the body pump/combat classes... I may not get Victoria Beckham's hair, but I'm determined to get J-Lo's heiny!! :) (that's a joke)

The color looks nice. The length is hard to tell, but I bet is makes an interesting shadow!
