We should've turned at that last exit...(where did I go wrong, con't)

So this a.m. while getting ready for school my two older children start a ridiculous squabble, as usual, thus ruining the morning and putting everyone in crappy spirits. So we are in the car on the way to school, and I'm trying to talk to them about their attitudes, and being sorry, and how obviously I'm making huge mistakes as a parent, and then I say, "Where did I go wrong?" and Luke said, " you should've turned at that last exit." O.K. obviously I might as well have been talking to the windshield for as much as my little speech made any impact on him. Good to know.

Oh Karen...your unheard speeches must end up where mine do! Hang in there girl! They keep telling me that they hear more than we think they do...we'll see :)
