Sooo my husband and I own a few dry cleaners. I suppose one of the perks might be that I get my cleaning done free. :) Yes. Nice perk. I usually use the one closest to our house and I know most of the workers, but since I don't really WORK there and I'm not there all the time, I don't always know the new folks. Soooo the other day I pull up. I needed to pick up some clothes I'd dropped off a few days ago. Sweet girl walks out and says, "Hi. Last name please?" I say, "I'm Burt's wife." Now normally at this point they will say, "oh, o.k." and go get the clothes. Not today. She says, "How do you spell that?" I say, "B.U.R.T. apostrophe S, W.I.F.E. While she is typing all of this in I am trying not to bust out laughing. The other girl behind the counter, who knows me, starts laughing and says, "Hey, she's the owner's wife." It's not her last name...she is Burt's wife." Haaaaaaaa!!!
I thought that was the funniest thing I'd heard in a looooooooong time. :) Then I got my free clothes and drove off. Hee Hee...
good times.
