Is it May already???

Sorry...It's been quite awhile since checking in! I had surgery in February and then forgot about the rest of my life for awhile! ha ha!
Well, here's what's been happening lately; I've starting writing again...songs, that is. My heart's been burdened pretty heavily on my purpose in life and what being a servant for Christ really means. God gave me a song last week that really just put to music what's been on my heart. It's called What Can I Do? I sang it at Stonegate and I felt like the message in the song really ministered to people. I may try to upload it onto my website once I get hold of a copy.

I led worship at Temple Baptist in April and it was wonderful! I had a great time and I hope to get to go back. I've stayed busy with my Bible study this spring and it's taught me SOOO much!
A lot of my inspiration for the new song came from not only my pastor's sermons but from the book we were studying...A Woman after God's Own Heart.

Speaking of women...I have two women's events in August...check the calendar...and I'll be attending a women of faith conference in August as well. I look forward to that. I've never been, and OF COURSE it's my dream to one day share my music there....(pipe dream maybe) ha ha...but a dream, anyway. :>

School's almost out for my kiddos and my baby Jill turns two in 3 weeks. Life is moving on isn't it?
